Terms of Service

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING OUR SERVICES.

These Terms of Service ("Agreement") constitute a binding contract between ElopMe, a Florida-based elopement planning company ("Company," "ElopMe," "we," "us," or "our"), and you ("Client," "you," or "your"). By booking a package, submitting a quote request, making payment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website at elopme.com, submitting a venue finder request, booking an elopement package, or otherwise engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

ElopMe provides all-inclusive elopement planning services in Miami, Florida. Our services include, but are not limited to: elopement coordination, officiant matching, photographer matching, florist coordination, hair and makeup coordination, videography coordination, venue scouting, marriage license guidance, and day-of coordination.

Specific services included in your elopement are determined by the package you select. Package details, inclusions, and pricing are described on our website and confirmed in your booking confirmation. ElopMe reserves the right to update package offerings and pricing at any time; changes do not affect existing confirmed bookings.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Process

To book an elopement package, you must submit a quote request through our venue finder or contact us directly. Once we confirm availability and you select a package, we will send a booking confirmation with your total cost and payment schedule. Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit.

3.2 Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total package price is required to secure your date and begin coordination. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before your ceremony date. For bookings made within 30 days of the ceremony, full payment is required at the time of booking.

3.3 Payment Methods

We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and ACH bank transfer. All prices are quoted in United States dollars. ElopMe offers 0% interest installment payment plans on select packages, subject to approval.

3.4 Cancellation by Client

If you cancel your booking more than 60 days before your ceremony date, you will forfeit your deposit but no additional charges will apply. Cancellations made 30-60 days before the ceremony date will forfeit 50% of the total package price. Cancellations made fewer than 30 days before the ceremony date are non-refundable. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@elopme.com.

3.5 Rescheduling

You may reschedule your elopement date one time at no additional charge, provided the new date is within 6 months of the original date and is subject to vendor and venue availability. Additional rescheduling requests may be subject to a $150 coordination fee.

4. Vendor Services

ElopMe coordinates with independent vendors including photographers, officiants, florists, hair and makeup artists, videographers, and musicians on your behalf. While we carefully vet every vendor in our network, each vendor operates as an independent contractor and is not an employee or agent of ElopMe.

We do not guarantee the performance of any individual vendor. In the event that a booked vendor becomes unavailable due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, ElopMe will make commercially reasonable efforts to secure a qualified replacement vendor at no additional cost to you.

5. Photography and Media

Photo and video deliverables are provided according to the timeline specified in your package description. Delivery timelines begin on the business day following your ceremony date. ElopMe is not responsible for delays caused by the vendor's editing process, though we will work to ensure timely delivery.

By booking a package that includes photography or videography, you grant ElopMe and the assigned vendor a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your ceremony images and videos for marketing purposes, including on our website, social media, and promotional materials. You may opt out of this usage by notifying us in writing at hello@elopme.com prior to your ceremony date.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELOPME'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC PACKAGE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL ELOPME BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THEORY OF LIABILITY.

ElopMe is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or quality of services provided by independent vendors, venue operators, or other third parties. Our role is limited to coordination and matching services as described in your package.

7. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government orders, acts of terrorism, wildfires, or other force majeure events. In such cases, ElopMe will offer rescheduling within 12 months at no additional charge or a credit toward a future booking. If rescheduling is not possible, ElopMe will refund all fees paid minus any non-recoverable vendor costs already incurred.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

9. Changes to Terms

ElopMe reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time by posting the updated version on our website. Changes apply to bookings made after the effective date of the update and do not affect existing confirmed bookings.
